The first upper level at Durham Performing Arts Center is known as the Grand Tier and includes sections 5-7. With an extremely close view of the show, sitting in the Grand Tier level provides an experience that closely mirrors the orchestra level. Row A of the Grand Tier sections are just above row S of the Orchestra sections, so the Grand Tier level is very close to the stage. It won't feel like you're on a distant balcony here; you'll have a close, elevated, and unobstructed view of the show. We recommend section 6 for a centered and direct view of the stage. The Grand Tier level also includes private seating on the far sides of the stage. Contact DPAC for more information regarding these seats.
